A Physiotherapy Consultation will involve taking a detailed history of the problem and then assessing you to provide a diagnosis, treatment plan and explanation of the condition. Kate practices a holistic approach; screening the whole body to work out the root cause of the symptoms, as opposed to just treating the site of pain. This provides a much more effective treatment, to prevent reoccurrence of the problem and to gain a good understanding of how your body works.

Private Pilates tuition is a great way to ensure you have the correct technique and this is a good starting point if you are completely new to Pilates. Even if you are not a beginner, many clients are surprised how much they were ‘cheating’ during previous classes as they were not using the correct muscles!
