Pilates workouts are based on a mat, and so you will need to be able to get up and down off the floor (although a chair can be put next to you to assist). You will be expected to lie on your back, side and front and sometimes on hands and knees. If you cannot manage any of these positions, the exercise can be adapted for you. Each class consists of different levels of each exercise, so with the guidance of Kate, you can choose the correct level for you. We sometimes use small equipment, such as a resistance band or ball.
If you cannot make a class one week, you can attend one of my other classes within that month, provided there is space.
