Fencing is my latest passion in life and I am now 1 year in and competing at the club each month. It is a fantastic discipline of quick reactions, footwork and mind games!
My pilates is helping me have the flexibility and balance needed to lunge and recover, which is essential in fencing. My fellow fencers report they can be stiff and achy the following day whereas I get to teach my Thursday pilates class, which allows me to have a good stretch after an evening of battling!
